Mikis studied Law and graduated from the University of Maastricht in 1996. He then entered the service of a legal syndicate in Heerlen where he worked 4 years. In addition to a secondment at a healthcare facility, he has primarily worked in the field of:
- Contract Law
- Employment Law
- Debt Recovery
- Rental Law
After working for 1 year in the legal department of Deloitte & Touche he moved on the 1 January 2003 to work for ARAG Legal Aid in Roermond where he specialized in the field of labour law.
From 1 August 2007, Mikis started the legal firm, Cornelissen & Snijders advocaten with his business partner Rob Cornelissen.
Mikis Snijders has registered the following main (and sub) areas of law in the register of legal areas of the Netherlands Bar: Employment law On the basis of this registration, he / she is obliged to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in each registered principal legal area in accordance with the standards of the Dutch Bar Association.
